A B.C.-wide warrant has been issued for Pedro Perez-Garrido, a high risk offender wanted for uttering threats and for forcible confinement.

Vancouver Police released their statement on Perez-Garrido on Tuesday, and said the 47-year-old allegedly threatened a woman and held her against her will. Vancouver Police say investigators have been unable to locate him.

Perez-Garrido is listed at 6'1" tall and weighing 180 lbs., with short brown hair and brown eyes. (His photo is to the right.) He is Hispanic, has a tattoo of a flower on his left calf and a tattoo of the Virgin Mary on his back, according to the VPD's release.

Anyone with information or who knows Perez-Garrido's whereabouts has been – or sees him – has been asked to not approach him and to call 9-1-1 immediately.
